Bardo Magel, Global Head of Asset Management
Bardo Magel is joining the Management Committee as Global Head of Asset Management with effect from December 2014.
He will be responsible for managing investment properties, securing a sound financial strategy and - as a member of the Management Committee - for professionally implementing the strategic targets set by the Foundation Board. Bardo Magel heads up global Asset Management with teams in Zurich, New York and Sydney.
He was previously Head of Transactions at Corpus Sireo Investment Management in Luxembourg where he was responsible for managing two pan-European real estate investment funds. Prior to this he was responsible for a worldwide portfolio of over 200 office, retailing, logistics and hotel properties worth a total of 20 billion euros at Commerz Real AG.
He has acquired his practical real estate skills through many years of international experience in the fields of asset management, acquisition and transaction management, and his theoretical knowledge by graduating in real estate management on an executive education program at the business and law school EBS Universität für Wirtschaft und Recht in Wiesbaden, Germany and by qualifying as a real estate professional.
